My Approach
In my massage and Reiki practice, I am committed to finding the best integrated approach to health and healing for my clients. In a typical session, I always allow for extra time to hear about the physical symptoms and emotional stressors that affect their well-being. I find these conversations with my clients invaluable as they give me a more complete understanding of their concerns, a stronger connection to them and additional insight in how to proceed with the session. My ability to converse in Italian, French and Spanish allows for a more meaningful dialogue with clients who are not as comfortable communicating in English.
Listening to my clients’ stories is particularly important in working with people who are living with cancer or any other long-term illness. Cancer not only exacts a physical and emotional toll, but also disrupts day-to-day life. In taking time to listen to and to understand all the challenges that my clients face, I’m able to offer body and energy work that provides comfort, support, and enhances the quality of their care.
